弥勒菩薩が現れて救ってくれる日

仏教に関する本を読んでいたら、信じられないことが書いてあった。

ゴ〜タマ・シッダ〜ルタ、いわゆるお釈迦様の次に悟りを開いてこの世の人々を救うとされているのは弥勒菩薩で、その時期、なんとお釈迦様の入滅(死亡)後５６億７千万年後だそうだ。

宇宙の誕生が約１３８億年前、地球🌏のそれが約４６億年前である。

一体どういう考えからこんな天文学的な数字が導き出されたのかは知らないが(ま〜、仏教には輪廻という思想があるから、こういった数字も「あり」なんだろう)、ただ一つ分かることがある。

それは我々は何の助けもなしに己の力のみを頼りに生きていかなければならないということだ。

Next person who gets enlightened after Gautama Buddha is Maitreya and the time he appears that way is 5 billion 670 million years after Gautama Buddha'death.

The universe is believed to be born about 13 billion 800 million years ago.

The earth was born about 4 billion 600 million years ago.

I have no idea how on earth they came up with this kind of astronomical figure(In Buddhism, there is an idea, reincarnation so I guess it's ok.) but one thing I'm sure of is that we have to live without getting any help from others.

We should only rely on ourselves.
